INNOVATIVE THINKING MEETS TODAY’S MOST PRESSING SOCIAL NEEDS

Founded in the spring of 2020, Output has a mission to bring social entrepreneurship to the forefront of problem solving on Princeton’s campus, specifically focusing on non-traditionally engaged academic communities. As a novel concept within the field of entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurs focus on developing, funding, and implementing solutions for social, cultural, or environmental issues. As a new E-Club sub-group, Output hopes to introduce Princeton students to innovative thinking in the social sphere through mentorship, engagement, and practice.

“I think that with Princeton's more theoretical focus, there is a strong need for a culture of "doing" to be able to apply one's skills to high-impact problems that tangibly serve our community. E-Club provides an incredible number of opportunities to do just that, exercising our entrepreneurial spirit in the pursuit of meaningful projects with challenging solutions and even more fulfilling results. I am especially happy to be working with the Output subteam because I believe strongly in using our talents to beneficially change the way people all around the world think and live their lives.”

Hi! I'm a junior from Texas majoring in Computer Science and minoring in both Statistics and Machine Learning as well as Entrepreneurship. I obviously love working on programming-related passion projects, but one other major hobby of mine is playing the violin! I've actually been playing for around 11 years now and am currently a violinist in the Princeton Camerata orchestra (definitely join!). Besides Camerata and E-Club, I also participate in Princeton Data Science, ACM, Aquinas, and a few others. Definitely feel free to reach out!

“I joined E-Club because I was drawn to the impact-based thinking that E-Club promotes, as well as the experiential opportunities to apply an entrepreneurial mindset and problem solving skills. I see entrepreneurship as an interdisciplinary avenue to address challenges on Princeton's campus and beyond. E-Club has provided me with an amazing community of other students who are also passionate about initiating real change through entrepreneurial thinking.”

I'm a Sophomore from Northern California planning to concentrate in Art History with a certificate in Entrepreneurship. I am passionate about visual storytelling, social impact through business, creative media, and collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds. On campus, I'm involved in entrepreneurial groups including Output, Women in Entrepreneurship, and REM Consulting, and I am also a member of Club Swim!
