FAQs

Applications, membership, and more!

  • We are actively looking for students with a variety of backgrounds and experiences – no particular technical skills required! We think every Princetonian should have the opportunity to be a part of an entrepreneurial project in their Princeton career. Whether you are a computer whiz, numbers geek, strategy professional, literary talent – or if you just have ideas too big and bold for most people – there is a good chance you are a match!

We encourage graduate students to apply as well. If you’re not interested in a specific team, a good option is to apply as a General Member to join our community!

  • In your application, you will be asked to rank the top three E-Club teams you would like to be considered for. Those teams will look over your application – including team-specific questions – and, depending on their policy, might or might not reach out for an interview and/or some other assessment activity. On Results Day, if you are successful, you will be paired with the highest-ranked team that decided to extend you an offer.

  • If you don’t happen to be matched with one of your ranked teams this application cycle, don’t worry! If your application is complete and thoughtful, you will be accepted into E-Club as General Member and still receive access to social events, career resources, opportunities, newsletters, mentorship resources, and other special member-only events and benefits to be released during the year. You can also re-apply to select teams in our upcoming recruiting cycles.

  • Because of the commitment and dedication required to successfully run an E-Club team, we do not allow members to join more than one at a time. However, there is one exception: you are allowed to be part of another team and be a part of Princeton Women in Entrepreneurship.

If you were previously part of an E-Club team and would like to transfer to another one, all you have to do is apply again in the next recruiting cycle!

  • We solicit applications for new E-Club teams every Spring around April: if you have an idea about a bold project that you feel is missing from our campus entrepreneurship ecosystem, we would love to help you start figuring out the details prior to that date! We are also happy to give advice about personal startup projects. Please note that these are independent of your status as an E-Club member. For instance, you would totally be able to pitch your own idea in the TigerLaunch competition as a HackPrinceton organizing team member!

  • The TigerTreks will host their own applications separate from this round of E-Club applications. These applications will be open to all students of the Princeton community.

  • Drop us a line at leadership@princetoneclub.com and someone on our leadership team will get back to you shortly!
