Spring 2024

New York TigerTrek is Princeton’s annual trip that brings 20 Princeton students to New York City for a week of intimate, off-the-record conversations with creatives, entrepreneurs, and game changers in industries ranging from art curation to technology. Year after year, this trip transforms the ideas and career goals of students who go on the trip and of students back on campus. This year's trip will be held during Spring Break, March 10–15.

This year’s theme? Passions in Professions. We want to meet the people who have consistently carved out their own niches, took big risks with intention, and made what they love a part of their lives. Although this trip has historically focused on tech and entrepreneurship, we’re expanding our focus to a more diverse range of fields, backgrounds, and identities. We can guarantee the speakers we’ll meet have done bold things with their passions — and if you have your own strong passions, you’ll fit right in with us.

ABHI VELLORE

ECE ‘25

“I joined E-Club to find a community of like-minded students interested in making a difference through entrepreneurship and creative innovation. Across every team, I have found an environment that encourages critical thinking and builds products that change the world. E-Club and entrepreneurship as a whole has been such a fantastic part of my Princeton experience!”

Abhi Vellore is a junior in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department with intended minors in robotics and optimization/decision science. From participating in various high school entrepreneurship opportunities to attempting to build his own startup, Abhi has embraced Princeton’s innovative culture across robotics, autonomous vehicles, and fintech. Abhi went on NYTT in Spring 2023 and is excited to put his navigation skills to the test directing NYTT this coming year!

“I joined New York TigerTrek for opportunity to meet extremely interesting and successful entrepreneurs and learn from their journeys, but I have found the openness different perspectives and ideas most meaningful in the NYTT community specifically.”

Hello! My name is Dane, and I am a Civil and Environmental Engineering student in the Class of 2026 from Huntington Beach, California.
